Now hiring: Jr Account Manager

We are looking for our next rock star team member based in Europe to join our digital marketing crew! We have lots of great things in the pipeline, and you’ll have the opportunity to get involved in a bit of everything!

The digital marketing space moves quickly. To stay at the top of our game we’re always learning and experimenting with new things. If you’re the type of person who is constantly learning and applying what you’ve learnt then you’ll fit right in here.

We have access to many digital marketing courses and if we don’t then we are happy to pay for it (case has to be made how it will benefit the business growth).

You won’t be a junior account manager forever, there will be opportunities to grow. We’ll clearly point the way to your next development milestone, and provide opportunities for you to proactively work towards. The rest is up to you!

What you will do

The role will be supporting our senior account managers with project delivery for our amazing clients.

You will have the chance to learn how a cutting-edge digital marketing agency operates, and be involved in client delivery projects. You will help in the funnel-building process from planning & strategy, to set up, to reviewing the KPIs and results.

There is going to be A LOT of problem-solving involved. You will need to identify issues and come up with possible solutions and present them to the senior account manager you’ll be reporting to. 

You will be using a lot of spreadsheets, so logical thinking and simple maths is a must.

You will attend client calls and learn strategy, how to talk to clients, how to push back on things that are outside the scope of work and give/receive feedback.

It will be your job to make everything work super smoothly. The tasks will require a very high attention to detail and ability to follow a well defined process. Some of them won’t be exciting or challenging, but you still need to take pride in doing them at the highest level.

What success
looks like

If you had been working for us in the last couple of weeks these are a sample of the tasks you would have done:

Project management

  • Took meeting notes and added them to Todoist , our project management software and assigned dates and names of the team responsible for it.
  • Followed up with the team mates and clients to make sure projects are on track

KPIs and Tracking

  • Filled in our KPI tracking spreadsheets using Google Analytics (internal and for clients)
  • Presented data during our internal project planning and client meetings

Email Automation

  • Set up an email campaign or automation in Active Campaign
  • Checked, double checked and triple checked every email
  • Set up split tests

Funnel Setup

  • Set up brand new sales funnel for one of client’s new courses using ClickFunnels
  • Checked, double checked and triple checked every step of a client’s automated funnel to make sure it’s working properly

Copy research

  • Analysed customer surveys
  • Sifted through client content to find gold nuggets (testimonials, hooks etc) for our copywriter to write emails and sales pages

Design

  • Created mockups using Canva & Figma (bonus points if you used Canva, Figma or any other designing app before)

What you will bring to the table

  • Eagerness to learn! We’ll teach you our methods and processes. Experience with funnels, working in an agency setting, understanding CRMs & email marketing software, marketing automation & Zapier – is a BIG PLUS!
  • Passion for marketing, data and tech. You want to know about the latest marketing techniques, you are not afraid of spreadsheets and data and you are a real nerd about tech and automation.
  • A voracious appetite for solving problems. High emotional intelligence. There are lots of problems to solve when you’re working in online marketing and tech setup. You will be expected to try and figure out the options before asking for advice.
  • Extremely organised – you will be expected to manage yourself and manage projects. There are a lot of moving pieces in project delivery and our team will be relying on you in getting your tasks done on time and with precision.
  • Unique combination of humility (willing to do the dirty work) and ambition (vision for what your future holds).
  • Driven – you are driven by excellence but not perfection. You are an action taker and you try to get better each time you do something.
  • Excellent at written and spoken English.
  • Fun – we mess around quite a lot as well as work hard. So if you don’t take yourself too seriously you’ll fit right in.

Sales funnel building agency for online course creators

We help online course creators build better marketing and sales funnels and make more money through a done for you agency service and a group coaching program. But it’s not only what we do, it’s how we do it.

How we work

It’s a 100% remote position, but it doesn’t mean you will be all alone. We’re connected through Slack, Loom videos, Zoom meetings and twice a year in-person meetups somewhere in Europe.

You will have to be available to work 9-5 in a European time zone – plus there will be occasional evening or early morning calls (we keep those to a minimum).

We work a 40 hour work week and you get two weeks paid holiday for every six months worked. Everyone is working on a contractor basis.

All projects and tasks will be set up in Todoist, our project management system, and will need to be ticked off in there so we know we are on track and everything is running smoothly.

Full support will be provided when you first start working with us, including training in how to do each thing you work on.

There will be a 3-month trial period for the role to check that we are a good match for each other (fully paid of course).

We expect to pay 1000 – 1500 euros a month for this position based on your experience (unless you are really experienced in a funnel set up then the salary can be negotiated further).

Start date 3rd January.
