Ideas Worth Sharing:

‘’We are by nature, reliant upon social proof or what we call testimonials or reviews, to inform whether or not we move forward with a purchase. And when we’re talking about digital marketing and online marketing and selling courses and products or services we act in the same way.‘’ – Anfernee Chansamooth

‘’One of these absolute fundamental principles that fits into marketing for courses for definite it’s, can you see the other people who’ve got the result from it? What does everybody say about this kind of thing? ’’ – John Ainsworth

‘’The ratings will give us an indication. We assume the higher the number of stars, the better the quality. But that can be manipulated, right? Anyone can put on a website, and put five stars and then put numbers on a page. But the story becomes really powerful because now we’re adding the contexts.’’ – Anfernee Chansamooth

‘’When we’re going through a checklist of our criteria for saying yes to the purchase, the stories provide that context. What was the prospect or the client thinking at the time of purchase, when they were reviewing and evaluating your product or service or your online program, your course. What was going through their minds when you started onboarding them? And for the onboarding experience, did they get good customer service? Did you meet things that they expected in terms of a product being delivered? And then what happened? What was the end result? Was the promise delivered? And so those three things are checked off now in our minds, the prospective buyer is going, yes, yes, yes. Okay. I’m going to move forward to the next step, whatever that might be. And that’s why stories are important.’’ – Anfernee Chansamooth

‘’Case studies are effective across the entire customer journey. ‘’ – Anfernee Chansamooth

‘’We can also use case studies as a retention tool. One of the best things you can do as a course creator is have successful students when students complete your courses. And they’re happy because they’ve got what they paid for. And even more, if you deliver something fantastic, that’s a really great time to go back to them and say, Hey, I’d love to fit you as a case study for this program. We’re going to promote your business, in front of our audience. And we’re also going to talk about the amazing work that you’re doing and the experience you had with our program.’’ – Anfernee Chansamooth
